The PSC has offered adult sailing lessons for many years in a variety of formats. This year we will again be offering a 6-week series of introductory sailing lessons. Participants will quickly learn the basic information necessary to be comfortable handling a sailboat. The lessons will be conducted by Peterborough Sailing Club member-volunteers who are all experienced sailors. Not only will participants learn the basics of sailing, but will also be able to establish mentorships and camaraderie with other club members.

Students will spend 15 hours in the classroom and on the water. The PSC will provide sailboats (Albacores and Lasers) for student use or, if you prefer, you may use your own boat. Course enrolment is limited to ensure that everyone will receive individualized instruction.
